SUICIDE AWARENESS IN THE LEGAL SECTOR
Suicide awareness is an important topic for everyone, and perhaps more so for those working in the legal sector. Research found that 1 in 15 junior lawyers had experienced suicidal thoughts, and 96% of fee earners said stress was impacting their health. This session will help you identify and understand your personal attitudes, beliefs and feelings about suicide and the impact of these. You will also learn how to recognise risk factors for suicide and how to respond to a person experiencing thoughts of suicide.
